La Familia Latorre: Short and Whiny
http://thelatorrefamily.blogspot.com/2015/05/short-and-whiny.html
Wednesday, 20 May 2015. 3 I did make macaroons for Leo though. First time ever. And he loved them. Yeah! I just miss my Mac. Really. Really. 6 It's been raining nonstop for over 3 weeks now. We've had flood warnings and last week I got caught in one storm and was driving in water up to the bottom of the car. Yuck. I don't like bad weather driving. Our backyard is a swamp and I'm scared to go outside anywhere for fear that the mosquitoes will carry me away. It was really good. He also drew me a picture of...

La Familia Latorre: El Museo del Oro
http://thelatorrefamily.blogspot.com/2009/12/el-museo-del-oro.html
Sunday, 20 December 2009. El Museo del Oro. Leo and I had a break from the kids one afternoon, so we were able to go to the Museo del Oro in Bogota. It was amazing. I've never seen so much gold in my life. But then it is the largest collection of gold in the world, so I guess it's the most I could possibly ever see. I liked these monkey earrings. The breast plates and other ornaments kept making us want to hum Book of Mormon Stories.Hee. Hee. Here's a little snippet about the museum. Named "El Dorado" by...

La Familia Latorre: Freedom Fire and Packing Up Camp
http://thelatorrefamily.blogspot.com/2015/08/freedom-fire-and-packing-up-camp.html
Monday, 3 August 2015. Freedom Fire and Packing Up Camp. You can't tell by the photos, which is a shame, but the meadow was completely full of the most beautiful wild flowers. It was lovely. Really. Myles was trying to take my camera away. Willow the dog. She's so pretty, but man what a lot of energy. I love her ears. Devaney, Willow, and Brynne. Jared packing up his trailer with all the fun stuff. Seriously, camping with them is the best. Ana, Myles and Garrett. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). 8220;...

La Familia Latorre: POLL
http://thelatorrefamily.blogspot.com/2010/05/poll.html
Friday, 21 May 2010. Choice #1: A traditional Colombian pollera colora. Pretty cute, eh? This comes with the added bonus that we could use it as a display item in any future children's projects involving learning about a country. (In my house growing up we ALWAYS chose Canada- except one year I did Tiawan.). Choice #2: A Colonial Dress. Added bonus: They could wear them to Colonial Days in Provo. Also, it will be easier to find a pattern. Choice #3: Scottish Garb. I just like it. 21 May 2010 at 13:36.

La Familia Latorre: 4th of July in Morgan
http://thelatorrefamily.blogspot.com/2015/08/4th-of-july-in-morgan.html
Tuesday, 4 August 2015. 4th of July in Morgan. Megan and Elena were three-legged race partners. Myles played in the marching band. Megan bought adorable matching shirts for all the little girls. And necklaces and tattoos and headbands. Megan's the best! Lindsay's little crew: Will, Molly, Lindsay and Ruth. Sterling was in Washington DC doing an internship, so she got to single parent for 6 weeks. Rough for her, but nice that she was in Utah for it. Waiting for the parade to come. I was awesomely lucky an...

La Familia Latorre: A million photos at Bear Lake
http://thelatorrefamily.blogspot.com/2015/08/a-million-photos-at-bear-lake.html
Sunday, 2 August 2015. A million photos at Bear Lake. Nicolas has a nice scowl, eh? First of all, we celebrated Isabel's birthday. She wanted a camping birthday cake since we'd be camping on her birthday. Thanks to pinterest, I found a perfectly splendid one. Ha Ha Pretend blowing it out. We forgot candles. And matches. Kali, Kiersten and Molly. I told Leo he would regret that. Elena and Molly and Kirsten. Isabel, Kiersten, and Elena. Myles is a riot. Seriously. Never heard a peep from this kid all day&#...

La Familia Latorre: August 2015
http://thelatorrefamily.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Monday, 31 August 2015. One day I did manage to break out our sewing machines (there's 5 in the house now, but one's not working) and I had the Elena, Sebastian, and Isabel sew themselves new music bags for their piano books. Ana, my awesome photographer, was taking pictures. Hey, you can kind of see my haircut. The kids were bored and whiney near the end, but not so bad that we didn't persevere. And of course, it was an excuse to use my embroidery machine a bit. Yay! Sunday, 30 August 2015. But he was s...

La Familia Latorre: Another Day in Canada
http://thelatorrefamily.blogspot.com/2015/08/another-day-in-canada.html
Monday, 10 August 2015. Another Day in Canada. Ah, Canada. Or Oh, Canada. Anyway, these pictures went in backwards, but I'm to lazy to switch them around, and this picture is beautiful so I felt it should stay at the top. This is a 360 view at the Mountain View graveyard. And that's the end of our little 360 degree turn. Did you follow it? You can see the whole town of Mountain View in this picture. Practically anyway. I stole pictures from Ana. And my grandparents graves. There's a Great Horned Owl nest...

La Familia Latorre: Johnston Canyon, Banff
http://thelatorrefamily.blogspot.com/2015/08/johnston-canyon-banff.html
Thursday, 13 August 2015. Johnston Canyon, Banff. And crowded. I loved the catwalks. I LOVE this picture! We were commenting on our colorful shoes, so we decided on a picture. I love the train in this picture. So Canadian. After the hike we went to a park and ordered pizza and they delivered to the park. Easiest camping dinner ever. I love the mountains. Love. Love. Love. 14 August 2015 at 10:56. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Badge courtesy of Mormon Share. El Museo del Oro.

La Familia Latorre: Blacksmith Fork Canyon and the Ogden Temple
http://thelatorrefamily.blogspot.com/2015/08/blacksmith-fork-canyon-and-ogden-temple.html
Thursday, 6 August 2015. Blacksmith Fork Canyon and the Ogden Temple. Monday morning, Megan, Katelyn, and Ana left for AFY (yes, not EFY- Adventure For Youth, river rafting and horseback riding, etc.) They were very excited. And then I cleaned our van. Isabel insisted on a bunch of photos. And yes, another sunset. We love them since we can't see them from out house. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
