Adventures in Korea

March 5, 2015. 석불사 (Seokbulsa) is by far my favorite temple in Korea. Every temple we’ve visited has had its own unique flair, but this one made my jaw drop. August 28, 2014. Though the size of our apartment is small, we’re lucky enough to have more than enough storage. The first day we were here we did a TON of rearranging. Well… Dan. Our bathroom is a traditional Korean-style bathroom, which means the shower isn’t separated from the rest of the bathroom by anything. Or at least it wasn’t before we purchased a shower curtain 🙂. We rigged our shower head to be a little more western as well. The shower head holder (there has to be an actual name for that?

Stumbling Home Winter Blues. December 14, 2014. The holiday season has certainly made living in Korea much harder than it had been previously. Thus, I titled this post after the song “Stumbling Home Winter Blues,” by Hotel Lights. In case you haven’t noticed, all of my posts are titled after related songs. 8221; posts. It was extremely rough falling asleep after that. By the time I awoke for work the next day, Facebook was inundated with pictures of Thanksgiving meals and family get-togethers, no...There...
