I’ve recently come to the end of a PhD in Physics. I was admitted to my degree in April 2012, and recently graduated at the Brangwyn Hall. I’ve been a student at Swansea for the past eight years, and in the last few weeks of 2011, I reprised my role as an undergraduate laboratory assistant. She continues her rehab at home and is getting stronger ever day. She is back on Facebook so you can contact her there as well. Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Craniectomy repaired yesterday. Sexual and Gender Minorities. These are the ramblings of an old man driving mad by the Arizona desert. This old world we live in concerns me. War, hunger, disease, hate, cruelty, lies, loneliness, death—all the old problems persist, even as we try to laugh them away. Yet the good persists too and grows—beauty, truth, kindness, love, plenty, health, art, contentment, excitement, music, joy, peace. And sometimes the darkness comes and gets us. And sometimes it doesn't, at least for a while.
