Our Journey Through Infertility. Jessica Miguel. This is our story. Saturday, March 14, 2015. All Clear for IVF! We are all clear! Pre IVF Bloodwork and Genetic Testing. Miguel had never had blood work done previously, so he was not too excited about this at all. It was all starting to feel so real. We were really preparing to embark on this journey and we were in it together! Now we just wait for our bloodwork to clear so we can continue to the next part of this process. It was April 30, 2014 and it was ablation day! I barely slept the night before. I mean. Dr. Razavi did brief me on how this procedure would take place, but still.when you think of anything being done to your heart, it is TERRIFYING! I had a feeling I knew I would be in good hands. Finally my parents came in the room. What a relief!

This is the exact reason why towards these f inal stages of the IVF process, you go to the doctor every single day for bloodwork and ultrasounds for m onitoring. With that being said, ti ming i s everythi ng. Once the shot is administered, the ovaries release the matured eggs within approximately 36 hours from the time the injection is given. Well the time has come!

Our Journey Through Infertility. Jessica Miguel. This is our story. Tuesday, July 19, 2016. July 14, 2014: The Retrieval is Scheduled! I am so nervous, and excited and anxious, all rolled into one! We will be retrieving in just 2 days! I feel like I have been cruising pretty calmly up to this point. Now my nerves are really starting to kick in. Will the trigger shot hurt? Will it make me feel funny? Will I do it properly? Will I have enough eggs? It is all in His hands, and I just need to KEEP GOING!

This is what happens when your appointment is at 1:45 and you don't get seen until 3pm. My feet were freezing! I left my socks in the car and thought for sure the second I sent Hubby to get them that the Dr would come in. Should have got the socks! He got a hot coffee, while I could not have fluid for 4 hrs.
