During my time interning at Melon Design, I helped to design the logo for an upcoming business called the Centre for Dynamic Balance. An occupational therapy centre for children with disabilities. I also designed the business cards, stationary and proposed website. The owners of the business wanted a brand that would communicate a sense of playfulness, welcoming and support. They also wanted to appeal to both children and adults.

Is a Canadian-made alternative allergen-free spread. The branding and package design is one alternative for this spread, as the company is still developing a marketing and brand strategy. The whole concept for the package is to stand apart from the primary colours and child-inspired competitors of the peanut butter and spread market, and stand out as a sophisticated experience starter. I worked with 365 Integrated.

Is a line of premium juices, spreads, jams and coffees made locally in Halifax, Nova Scotia. They are also being sold in Asian markets. The labels were done in the very tight deadline of 12 hours under the art direction of Melon Design’s Paul Douglas. The labels were to look elegant and clean, and reflect the rich taste of the products themselves.

Posters were designed for the 2013 CASHRA. Canadian Association of Statutory Human Rights Agencies) Conference. Youth often do not understand the extensive negative impact that their online insults have on their victims. It is much harder to empathize with someone if one cannot physically see the other or if there is no eye contact. My poster puts this issue of cyberbullying into perspective. Would you say it to her face?

Saturday, December 20, 2008. Here is our Christmas pictures! We got one good family picture! Then Kaitlyn had to open the present she was holding! Wednesday, December 10, 2008. Made a gingerbread house today! I think someone had more fun trying to eat the candy! It was fun though! Friday, December 5, 2008. Nathan met Kaitlyn and me in LA after spending a month apart! We decided we would go to Disneyland for a couple of days to see everthing. All dressed up for Christmas! She wouldn't let go of Mickey!
