Sunday, 18 April 2010. Kagoshima - day 2. Spent the morning at the hostel uploading photos on flickr. I feel the best way to share what I'm living is to show the pictures, more than the words. Monday, 19 April 2010. So today I decided to bury myself in hot sand. Took JR train from station (return 1,950 ) at 10.42 and an hour later I arrived at Ibusuki. The town was completely deserted, I walked alone in streets for most of the time, most of shops were closed: an end of the world atmosphere. But being used to go in seaside towns during winter, I recognise that the place must be packed in the summer. I stopped at ramen. Friday, 23 April 2010. Now I'm back　in Fukuoka after spending few days at Yakushima, an island 100km south of Kagoshima. It's on the World Heritage list for its centenaries cedar trees. Good thing is information centre at the end of the pier where lovely ladies gave me all the maps and bus timetables I could possibly want. Friday, 23 April 2010. Woke you with a japanese breakfast. Cooked by T-chan, was delicious and, as long as there is no nato and gooey stuff, Japanese breakfast can be fantastic. Afterwards she prepared me a bath. We then headed to town to Sushi restaurant. Afterwards we went shopping.
