It's going to be a great year!: May 2015
http://dianaprior.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
May 23, 2015. Sara is my spunky, sweet, incredibly talented little eight grade graduate. She sings, plays the drums, loves ballroom dance, refuses to wear makeup or do her hair unless forced, and made class valedictorian because she has rockin high grades. The community gave her a scholarship for college at a special awards ceremony. I didn't even know 8th graders qualified for scholarships. Sara did a great job with her speech that she kept to under 5 minutes. Posted by Prior Family. Ballroom dance is b...

It's going to be a great year!: February 2015
http://dianaprior.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
February 26, 2015. Hike #2 Madera Mine for Jake's Birthday. Jake decided that for his birthday he wanted to hike up to the abandoned mine in Madera Canyon. The Hubers joined us on this one. During the hike you come across a few tall rocks. Jake decided that since it was his birthday, he would pose as king of the mountain. This was a fun mellow hike and after we returned home, Jake got to eat chocolate cake. I'd say the day was a success. Happy Birthday cutie! Posted by Prior Family. Posted by Prior Family.

Originally she wanted to go to Aunt Cindy's house, but once she found out that Aunt Cindy was coming to the park, she was okay. (I played around with the lighting on these photos just for fun). It's going to be a great year!: December 2014
http://dianaprior.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
December 16, 2014. About three months ago, ipad minis went on sale at Target. With my cousin's employee discount and a red card I paid between $160-170.00 for the device. Since I don't have a cool phone, ipod touch, kindle, or any other electronic device, I was not only excited about my new purchase, but determined to take good care of it. I was not happy. I looked at her and promptly went back to what I was doing. Carlee's little head hung down and she ran off into the other room crying. I ignor...After...

It's going to be a great year!: November 2013
http://dianaprior.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
November 26, 2013. She was super excited when she saw ALL of the presents from Grandma and Grandpa. I think grandma wrapped each item for her baby individually, so Carlee got to open a bottle, then a diaper, then a sippy cup, then a pacifier, you get the idea. She loved it and her older siblings loved watching her. Posted by Prior Family. November 10, 2013. Joey has come a long way since January when he wasn't sure he was ready to get baptized, but there were still some things he was unsure about. Wh...

The Business of Being a Blaser. We're not exactly sure what that business involves, but in the meantime. Friday, October 23, 2009. Hi everyone. So here are some tips to preventing the flu. I've heard some of these before and I've used many of them and I think they help. Just thought I'd pass them along. The source is listed at the bottom of the post. 1 Frequent hand-washing (well highlighted in all official communications). 3 *Gargle twice a day with warm salt water (use Listerine if you don't trust salt...

It's going to be a great year!: September 2013
http://dianaprior.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
September 18, 2013. Once Upon a Murder Party. This year Rebecca decided that she wanted to throw a Murder Mystery Party for her 14th Birthday. We got online and found one with a fairy tale theme and then invited several friends to play roles at the party. I loved that she decided to to cast herself as Belle. She had a princess party when she was 3 where she also dressed up as Belle. Not much has changed. Half way through the evening Snow White was murdered. Posted by Prior Family. September 6, 2013.

It's going to be a great year!: August 2014
http://dianaprior.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
August 18, 2014. And up and up and up. . . . In many regards personal growth is a lot like our temporal education continually building upon things learned in previous years. So I wanted to report on some of my own personal progress, and why I know that even the hard things in life are worth experiencing. Most recently when I was diagnosed with a small skin cancer I began to fear that the one disease I would give anything and do anything to avoid could very possibly be in my future. When I began treat...
