I didn't realize I missed my quiet little blog until I took a look at it this morning. Sometimes it takes you getting some of your thoughts out in black and white to remind you who you are and where you want to go in life. I have realized that this space isn't about getting people to like me, it's about me documenting my interests and memories for myself.

I know I am definitely not the only one! I had this sudden urge to share some of my fun photos with you all today. Enjoy! This photo was in my post recapping the Brazos Bend State Park trip with the parents. Aren't they cute! This is my day on Easter Sunday! I even attempted to fly a kite with my precious cousin. Its one thing to look at words, its another to look at both NUMBERS and WORDS! Oh and before I forget, PERCENTAGES as well! Thats one mess. Another one is one that I shouldnt have dabble in. Just a caring side of me, tqvm. Learnt my lesson, next time (hopefully there isnt a next time), stay out of it. Much like me ranting out here.

Monday, December 14, 2009. El Rito, NM.right before Christmas. Lthough I love San Francisco, there is something about New Mexico that makes its nickname: Land of Enchantment, resonate deeply with me. Was lucky enough to have a research project that absolutely, positively required an in-person trip to Sante Fe. And I am lucky indeed to have a dear friend and artist, Susan Guevara, to stay with. Usan arranged a visit to the El Rito Elementary school, where I visited with the kindergarten and 1st grade.
