Saturday, October 12, 2013. The best chocolate cake. Back when we lived in the US, I never ever made cake from scratch, unless it was cheesecake. Honestly I never found a recipe that tasted as good as a Betty Crocker box. Since you can usually buy a cake mix for around a dollar I never saw the point of doing anything else. Tuesday, January 24, 2012. We finally broke down and consented to let the kids have a cat. I thought it would be a nuisance, but we all have loved our new family member! She is a grey and white cat, which makes it funny to me that they decided to name her Oreo (oreos are BLACK and white). But at least they all finally agreed on something! She likes to look out the windows. Poor thing spends half of the day meowing, begging me to let her go outside! And Haddie just lies there and loves every minute of it!

Sunday, April 03, 2011. Monument 10k/ Fun run! 27 wks preggo.not my fastest 10k. Millie, Jake, and I ran/walked in the Richmond Monument 10k/Kids fun run yesterday. There were over 40,000 participants and we had a fabulous time! Great meeting up with you, Minniemay (great run, by the way), and thank you, sweet Blairence, for making the trip at 4:30 am, running with Jake, and watching the kids while I participated!
