I've questioned most of my adult students about this "holiday" and this is what I've found out. Note that this is from memory, and relayed by those learning English; so there may be some inaccuracies. For the Joy of Man's Desire. Sunday, August 23, 2009. Last week Graziella and I hopped a train to a smaller town (Tanabe) in the prefecture (like a state) next to Osaka. We spent 3 days at a very nice hotel set right on the ocean. The view from our room on the 16. Floor was spectacular.
