We stayed at Dormy Inn for 3 nights and were very impressed with the hotel’s offerings. The rooms are reasonably sized (by Japan standards), the bathroom a good size and all in-room amenities provided – even pants and a top for wearing around the hotel. There was also a free to use washing machine and paid dryer in the bathroom. Stayed January 2014, travelled as a couple.

It really surprised me in a country so technologically advanced (for example some toilet seats do a double lift when you walk into a cubicle and remain standing to do a number 1) they can’t keep food on a buffet table warm! As mentioned earlier, the main place of celebration in Samui for the occasion was the lake, located just behind Chaweng beach.
