John Bittinger Klomp Pastels: April 2010
http://pastelseacloudraw.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
John Bittinger Klomp Pastels. The ocean and sky, and salt water marshes in South Florida and Cape Henlopen, Delaware constantly amaze me. Changing light conditions, transparency and color of the water and atmospheric variation are the themes of a new series of pastel drawings. Sunday, April 11, 2010. I’m not entirely happy with this one. I’m thinking about rubbing the women out, and redoing them in a reversed position so that they are looking directly at the boat. Never the less that will be in the future.

John's Mixed Media Distressed Paintings. Sunday, July 17, 2011. Two new mixed media distressed paintings. Mixed media distressed paint, July 16, 2011(8" x 8"). I'm still hopping to put together a show of all "The Waterworks," including the mixed media distressed paintings, photo montages, and pastels. Meanwhile, these very small artworks should move better than the larger pieces. So, I'm cranking them out. Life Without Clean Safe Water. Mixed media distressed paint, July 16, 2011 (8" x 8").

John's Mixed Media Distressed Paintings: "All These Thoughts"
http://mmdpaintings.blogspot.com/2011/07/all-these-thoughts.html
John's Mixed Media Distressed Paintings. Wednesday, July 13, 2011. All art about WATER in capital letters, the ocean, fresh water lakes, rivers! Because I live near two beaches and coastal water systems I have become supremely aware of the threat our litter and use of dirty energy poses to water, to all aquatic life, and by extension to all life on earth, including each and every human being. My hope is that everyone becomes more aware of the necessity of unpolluted water. Dr John Bittinger Klomp.
