Sunday, December 20, 2009. Stranded and No Church Today. It's a snow emergency today in Boston so I have nothing to do but update the blog and sit inside and sip hot cocoa. It's rough. Derrick finished his finals last Wednesday and is loving his freedom (and gets to now start studying for the boards- yay! I'm loving my cute English classes and my work at the NDEC. Sunday, April 26, 2009. The director at my work told me that you can plan on needing a jacket in Boston for any month of the year with an "aw" (meaning "r") in it. Even though it's still technically an "aw" month, it is finally feeling like spring! The magnolia trees around the city are in full bloom and they are gorgeous. It's very, very nice to feel like the winter is finally over. It's been a relaxing week for us. Derrick finished his Anatomy class and found out that he got an A! Sunday, April 12, 2009.

Thursday, November 6, 2014. It's STOKOE FARM time again:). As usual the Gilchrist Family took our annual Fall trip to Stokoe Farms, and as usual we had a blast! This year was a bit different because The Henderson Family who are some friends of our's joined us that day, which made it all the more fun:). We saw the animals. Grayer with the Henderson Boys. Saturday, July 10, 2010. Annie Elizabeth joined us two weeks ago on Friday, June 25th. She was 8 lbs 3 oz and 19 inches long. Mel had to push for a little while because Annie's head was at an angle, but Annie was patient through the whole ordeal and finally arrived! Im so excited you finally blogged about it! Aaron, Erica, and company. Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Last days in Virginia. I am finally feeling like I have some time to blog again! Here are the kids being "box boy and girl". They had to get creative with activities in an empty house. By the way, we had packers this time and after that, I don't think I will ever pack a box again. It was soooo nice! August 16, 2010. Books We've Been Enjoying. My sister has six boys and recommended this book to me. I'm always looking for ideas on how to keep my boys busy doing something worthwhile and this was a great solution. It provides both mental stimulation and hands on learning. There's also one for girls called. The Daring Book for Girls. I've enjoyed reading these (both true stories):. August 10, 2010. Another great thing about Dominion is that there are several expansion sets to keep the game interesting.
