The activity was that if they heard any of 5 key words they would get a colored bead representing that word and at the end of the session they would get to make a bracelet. Wednesday, June 3, 2015. A Day of Lasts. Today was Payton and Lincoln's last day of school and the ACS Carnival. What a fun way to end the school year! There were lots of carnival games, face painting, a balloon person, and karaoke. Plus popcorn, snow cones, and cotton candy. Can you say sugar coma? The kids had a blast! Friday, June 20, 2014. Today we ventured to Castle Air Base Museum with my grandma, parents, Caeden, and Maddix. There are a ton of planes there on display and it was so fun to go around looking at all of them. It was really hot but the kids did well and seemed to really enjoy themselves. Monday, July 29, 2013. Great Grandma Draman has come to visit from Iowa. We haven't seen her since Lincoln was a baby. It is so nice getting to visit with her. I am so glad the kids are getting to see and visit with her. Today was our first day shopping for supplies for Great Grandma Vella's 80th birthday party. And yes Grand Draman came with us. Friday, September 27, 2013. Today was the fund run at Almaden Country School. Amma, Papa Don, and Grandma Vella all came up to watch Payton participate. What a cheering section! Payton did such a great job. She ran/walked for 30 minutes with her Big Buddy, Cameron, cheering her on. Last year she ran 19 laps and this year she ran 27! Saturday, May 31, 2014. While at Walmart we made a little impulse purchase and bought a shaved ice machine. Best summer purchase ever! Coming from an area in a record drought, imagine my surprise waking up in the middle of the night to the biggest thunder and lightning storm that I had seen and heard in a long time. Then to further my surprise imagine coming down in the morning to find out that the basement had flooded and had over 12 inches of water in it. Yikes! Saturday, August 31, 2013. Matress falls on Austin. So grateful he was not seriously hurt, just a bloody nose and a fat lip. The kids were invited to a birthday party this evening in Gilroy.
