My first tour was ridden on The Mule about 16 years ago. Also crapped out but for different reasons. Maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to ride 113 miles. May 7, 2015.

A Blog of Cycling, What Not and Nonsense in the Washington, DC region. The Bikes of the DCyclist. Monthly Archives: January 2017. Kicking 2016 into the Sharrows. The end of 2016 is here. It seems the general consensus on 2016 was [insert poop emoji]. Without a doubt, the events toward the end of this year have greatly contributed to the general disdain of 2016 and the anxiety leading into 2017. Personally, these events have hit deep within me to the point that…. January 1, 2017. January 1, 2017. Follow T...

A Few Spokes Shy of a Wheel: September 2012
http://rootchopper.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
A Few Spokes Shy of a Wheel. Sunday, September 30, 2012. Hey, Hon, It's the Tour du Port. Last weekend I rode the 50 States Ride in DC for the 5th time. Today I took on it's cousin the Tour du Port in Baltimore. I first did this ride with my son many years ago when he was riding his 20-inch one-gear cyclecross bike. He worked his butt off on a cold day to finish 20 tough miles. We came into downtown and headed west and then south along the water. We followed the Gwynns Falls Trail which is a curious ...
