Instead of a hotel we stayed in an a mansion that was being converted into a hostel. It had incredible architecture as it was a few hundred years old! Jeanine's Blog :-). The next day we slept in, which wasn’t that hard as it stays dark here until about 8:45am. We found a delicious vegetarian restaurant (that served chicken) and ate lunch. It really reminded me of California and was exactly what I needed! The rest of the day we shopped and explored, the city here is quite stunning. Here one can find a beautiful older building whose neighbor is a clean lined modern work of art. It all makes an interestingly elegant fusion of architectural tastes.

Jeanine's Blog :-). We are preparing for our trip to Iceland! We would definitely like to snorkel in the Silfra Rift, which we may do towards the end of our journey. I have uploaded a map with some places that we have marked with red tabs. We wont be able to get to some of them due to weather/road conditions.
