QUANDO BAMBINI FANNO OHHH! Tribal Clay Painting, Girl Power and Rainbows. What more could you want from Kauai? I joined a group of amazing women for tribal clay painting. Sometimes women just need a chance to get back in touch with their true tribal original selves. Away for all the stigma, judgement and criticism and just be the true beauty that we are. I loved it. Thank you Wanda and Kaia for the experience and mahalo also to Meghan for joining me. 3rd Annual Sip and Cycle, a bicycle pub crawl.

QUANDO BAMBINI FANNO OHHH! Sorry blog world, I've neglected you! Life happens and other social medias get primary slots. Facebook is my go to source. For the few classics who choose not to have their lives in front of everyone to see, I want to let you know that you are still in my thoughts and I care. Hmmm Dad and Barbara welcomed me for a short stay and we had tons of laughs. Mica turned 90 this month. Go head lady! She rocked out at Chucky Cheese's with her grandkids and great grandbabies.

QUANDO BAMBINI FANNO OHHH! Well guys, I've moved yet again. :) I've come back to San Francisco for another travel assignment. The holiday season definitely got me thinking though and my plans have been altered a bit. I've decided that it's time for me to go back to school again. And what better place to be than in paradise, learning. :) So I'm applying for a permanent job in Hawaii while I complete an online Masters course in Nursing. It's a 2 year program. So, yeah. QUANDO BAMBINI FANNO OHHH! Haha, I moved again! That may or may not be a crazy laugh or a funny haha laugh. I'm not sure anymore! So first, I must say I'm sorry for sucking at blogging. As you can see though I've been moving, a lot, lately so I have justifiable cause. :). Ok, so quick update. I visited my bestie Tina in LA, my brother and his family in Las Vegas, another one of my besties Meredith in Phoenix and my aunt in Tucson on my drive from SF to Houston. Crazy! We loved our salads and smoothies!

QUANDO BAMBINI FANNO OHHH! I guess it's the universe telling me to behave for a week. :). This has been quite the experience. My glands were so swollen that I could not touch my own neck nor swallow. I made a crazy face with each gulp attempt. The funny thing is I'm so blunt with describing my symptoms and my rationale for them initially, I make my nurse assistants/techs blush. LOL. I'm on antibiotics now and hope to be eating solids in the next day or so. :). Next week, watch out SF! Napali Coast, Kauai.

QUANDO BAMBINI FANNO OHHH! During the holiday season I think it's ok when one disappears from the blogging world. We can just thank facebook for allowing us to look back and smile at our adventures. The start of December was the ending of my work contract at KVMH. I loved working there and the people that I occasionally saw. It's a quaint hospital where I had lots of autonomy. Although I craved higher acuity, I appreciated the care that I was able to provide with the resources that I had.

QUANDO BAMBINI FANNO OHHH! I have loved being here in Kauai. I've had so many amazing opportunities and met some amazing people. I just completed another big hike. It was a 8 mile round trip hike to Hanakapiai Falls off the Kalalau Trail. I was hopping over boulders, balancing along rocky and muddy paths, sloshing through mud puddles and marveling Mother Earth. If only hikes everywhere led to views as gorgeous as these. The most common and my first visitor in the apartment was the good ole cockroach!
