New and fun products. Pin cushions and tins. August 27, 2008. Me know, me do! Believe it or not, I did not become an excellent sewer/patchworker/crocheter/crafting profesh overnight and suprisingly I am still not fantastic. But I do my darndest to look like I know what Im doing. Sometimes when Master Chris is explaining something to me I nod like I understand but in my head I can only hear Drop the Pilot by Joan Armatrading. Worsted: the worst yarn you can buy. Basting: job for the sunday roast. I let Da...

Sarah's Simple Stitches: Knitting Rules
http://simplestitches.blogspot.com/2010/10/knitting-rules.html
Ramblings about my stitches in cloth, yarn, and life. My many hobbies include (but are not limited to) sewing, decoupage, embroidery, cross stitch, knitting, crocheting, polymer clay, punch needle, tatting, and quilling. October 9, 2010. Lately it seems as though every time I think about blogging, something more important comes up. I finally have a little bit of time, and a question. My question is: Do you have any 'rules' about your knitting? And that's where I ran into trouble. I went on vacation i...

You, Me & Miss E: June 2013
http://youmeandmisse.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 16, 2013. A few of my favourite things. One of my favourite things about being back home in the country for uni holidays is getting the opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy the little things that country life has to offer. One of these things is veggie gardening! This past summer has been a super hot one for our region so our veggies suffered. My parents also work a lot so they don't have a lot of time to put into the garden as much as they would like to. I'm going to do some reading up on ...

http://simplyhavingfunwithstamps.blogspot.com/2013/10/happy-anniversary.html
Simply Having Fun with Stamps. Friday, October 25, 2013. Happy 34th Wedding Anniversary! One day I keep telling myself.and wonderful news too that we have another grandchild on the way due in March, so another cross-stitch will be on the agenda as well. Something that I have decided to do for each one as a keepsake to remember Nannie by. I love the card but in my haste completely forgot to use watercolour paper and it didn't dawn on me until after, but hey I got it made! It's the thought that counts!

Its a Riley Life: November 2009
http://itsarileylife.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Its a Riley Life. Thursday, November 19, 2009. One gift down, only 19 to go! So, I had a day off today as I have been unwell. Riley went to spend the day with the Grandies and I had the house to myself! I took advantage of being alone and made one of the bunch of things I have on my wishlist. The pattern is a free one that you can find here. The first attempt passed the Riley test, thankfully and is suitably cuddly which is a big relief. Wednesday, November 18, 2009. Long Time No See. Its beginning to lo...
