We have been graciously visited by the stomach bug (twice), the rhino-virus (high-fever cold too numerous to count), and the influenza (yep, even though we got the flu shot). We were very grateful to have Auntie Katie and Grandma Barson for a week in early April. My spring break did not coincide with the Montessori spring break so our visitors helped out immensely! Sophia easily remembered both Auntie Katie and Grandma Barson, and really enjoyed herself. Everett slowly warmed to them after a day or two. Auntie Katie is being waited...

He is finally eating solids and is regularly cleaning out the fridge. His message on his notes sheet from the Montessori the other day said "Bring more food; he ate everything in the fridge! Eating vegetables with beef and hamming it up. He is starting to pull himself up on tables, toys, and the fireplace hearth.

We had a wonderful time visiting Papa and Grandma Barson. The kids also got to spend time with their great grandparents: John and Jean Barson. Also, thanks to all who made this visit happen. Tuesday, December 01, 2009. Thanksgiving 2.0 and others. Although we pulled all the stops out and had Thanksgiving dinner early before Melissa left we still wanted to have a nice dinner on the real Thanksgiving day. Instead of turkey we cooked up a couple of chickens and had a variety of other variations of the standard T-day food. (Grandma still made pumpkin and apple pies though - that was a requirement! Friday, November 14, 2014. A few weeks ago we had the fun chance to have Ethan's band "Mainstream". AND Ben and Melissa play a concert at Muse Music in Provo. It was so awesome! It has been so fun as parents to see our children perform. Tyler started the trend with his band "Exit 282". Brad with his wonderful voice.
