Wednesday, 21 March 2012. As I didn't have a suitable picture, I searched online and found one but it was a very modern image which would need a lot of manipulation. I gave it a go, trawled up an old image of about the time but it all got too complicated to age it sufficiently so I have abandoned it in favour of another idea , this time of a magazine cover which seems slightly easier. Tuesday, 10 April 2012. I've been trying to put together the images for The Photograph book cover and at present it seems a bit beyond my skills in Photoshop. There were so many elements which just didn't want to come together that I have abandoned it in favour of a magazine cover. I have a portfolio of images of an Ethiopian girl who I featured in one of my exercises and want to use her again in this assignment. So, I'll give it a go and let you know how I get on.
