McDade Family: He's here!
http://mcdadefam.blogspot.com/2012/04/hes-here.html
Wednesday, April 11, 2012. Liam Patrick McDade finally arrived! Though the labor and tardiness were not as dramatic as his older brother (41 hour labor and one week late), Liam was 3 days late and a 26 hour labor! I got asked a thousand questions and signed a bunch of consent forms (didn't I pre-register? But fortunately my labor was progressing slowly and I wasn't at the point of chewing their heads off yet! When the midwife came back at almost 2, she prepared me for pushing. I was gearing up for it...

McDade Family: My 2 year old
http://mcdadefam.blogspot.com/2011/11/my-2-year-old.html
Thursday, November 3, 2011. My 2 year old. So Evan turned two on October 21! I made sure to give him lots of kisses and hugs, and grabbed him and attempted to put him on my chest at 4:30 (his time of birth), just like I did last year, and just like the midwife did 2 years ago! Well, I was trying to reminisce to myself because I knew he wouldn't understand what I was talking about and as I was, he pinched my lips as if to say "enough, Mom! I don't want to hear my birth story! Jack and I first met when we ...

McDade Family: November 2011
http://mcdadefam.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 3, 2011. I know, 3 blog posts in one night, right? Well, Jack went to bed early, and I have plenty of time to kill and the computer all to myself. Oh right, it's a. BOY! We had an ultrasound this morning and the tech was able to tell right away that it's a boy! So I was quite surprised when the tech said it was a boy! We are soooo excited though! All day we've kept saying to each other "2 boys! So I'm 18 weeks now, and still kind of in disbelief that I'm pregnant! But I haven't really ...

McDade Family: September 2011
http://mcdadefam.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 26, 2011. We will be expanding our home by two feet in April! We are very excited to announce that we are expecting McBaby #2, due April 3! I've been feeling pretty different this time around. I barely had any nausea with Evan but this time I spent a good few weeks pretty sick and tired. But my energy is back and food is appealing again! No cravings yet, but plenty of first trimester aversions. I thought this baby might be a vegetarian! But meat is good again! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Friday, August 26, 2011. Deetoo Fry, Daya, batz, Daddy, Mommy, Farty, poop, nono, peepee.". Translated: "thank you for Strom (Evan's uncle), the Incredibles, pizza, Daddy, Mommy, lovey, poop, fan, peepee.". I had tears in my eyes from laughing, being so moved, and maybe a little from being 5th on the list! Tuesday, August 9, 2011. After that, we have spent time with different subsets of family. Tess and Joseph headed to Florida for 8 days and the day before they got back, Catherine left for Maine for...

McDade Family: February 2012
http://mcdadefam.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 22, 2012. Sorry I haven't blogged, to anyone who might still check in and see if I post anything! Life and this pregnancy are pretty routine and when I think of how long it's been since I've blogged, it leaves me even less motivated to sit down and blog when something out of the ordinary does happen. But I find myself before the computer with some time on my hands and access to my belly pictures, so here goes an update on the pregnancy. Baby boy seems to be growing out. He's way more ...

A Shep's Life. And by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt. Sylvia Plath. Grateful: When Wishes are Horses. What do you wish for when you blow out the candles on your birthday cake? Wonderful. I have wished for this every year since…well, forever. And now, at thirty, I’m wishing for it more than ever. When I jumped down from the saddle, Eclipse nickered and bent her head around t...
