Papercrafting with Kelly Janes. August 20, 2016. I have a fun boy themed layout for you today for The Cut Shoppe. For my layout today I started by cutting the POW portion from the Hero Up Cut File. On a scrap piece of pattern paper to use as a mask. I then sprayed Gold Heidi Swapp Color Shine onto the white cardstock. After the Color Shine was dry I added hand stitching using black embroidery floss to let the starburst and letters pop! Here you can really see the shine from the Color Shine! For all of th...

http://andreaancich.blogspot.com/2014/08/garage-saling-goodness-and-selfie.html
Saturday, August 16, 2014. Garage saling goodness and a selfie! So today I went garage saling with my dad and found this gem! All I could think of when I saw it was Dumb and Dumber and the little kid petting his bird. "pretty bird, pretty bird". hahahaha. No I did not purchase. I however purchased this super cute painting for my condo. It will be perfect in my place. I'm doing a little redecorating this next week (getting my to-do list done before school starts). The Cut Shoppe: July 2015
http://thecutshoppe.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 31, 2015. I enjoy handstitching on layouts (especially during long car rides) and was really excited when Ashley taught me the technique of using a sketch pen in the Cameo to turn the cut files into patterns! I had been cutting and tracing them, so I was pretty pumped at the genius of this idea. I put it to use during my last road trip, and it turned out great! I used the Tag, You're It. I'm starting to realize that I might have a bit of a caffeine problem :). It's a great way to mix it up.

The Cut Shoppe: Birthday Time
http://thecutshoppe.blogspot.com/2015/08/birthday-time.html
Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Hey everyone, Amy. Here to share a layout I created of my daughter celebrating her 14th birthday. Of course, I had to use the It's My Party cut file. And the August kit from Paper Camellia to create my page. I couldn't resist that cute circle die cut Ashley created and I colored it with just a bit of mist. For the "happy" banner, I did some smooshing with mists and watercolors to get a subtle effect to match the colors on my background paper. Thanks for visiting the blog today!

The Cut Shoppe: Back to School!
http://thecutshoppe.blogspot.com/2015/08/back-to-school.html
Saturday, August 15, 2015. So here is my layout! I used the star circle from the Scribble Scrabbles. Set for my photo frames. The other elements are from the School Rules. Set Isn't that pencil just adorable? I had to use that and of course, had to paint it like a pencil! I'm a sucker for school supplies! On the Back to School and 2015-2016 cutout, I created an offset cut to use behind the cut outs so they stand out a little better. With that striped paper, it helped ground those cuts a little better.

The Cut Shoppe: "Let's Do This"
http://thecutshoppe.blogspot.com/2015/08/lets-do-this.html
Saturday, August 8, 2015. I'm excited to share a layout with you today using two of our newly released cut files! I say this everytime, but I really love these files! I saw those Graffiti cut files and knew I wanted to use those right away! For this layout I used the Sideways Chevron cut file but I turned it and used it going up and down instead of sideways. I also used the new Graffiti Greetings cut file and used it for my title. Store and see what is new! There are soooo many great files to choose from.
