Will Cook for Shoes. Recipes, rants, the usual. Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Chicken Mole for the Lazy Cook. So, I've been reading Lynne Rosetto Kasper's How to Eat Supper. Here is my adaptation of Kasper's instructions. I varied the recipe a bit, and I was quite pleased with the results. The mole is so easy to put together and you could even use a rotisserie chicken if you are in a rush. The sauce would also be great over big grilled gulf shrimp. Chicken Mole the Easy Way. 2 T whole salted almonds.

Will Cook for Shoes. Recipes, rants, the usual. Monday, March 29, 2010. I try to limit sweets to weekends, although from reading this blog you might think otherwise. I have a huge sweet tooth. This is the kind of thing you make on a Saturday night or if you are having company over. I pulled this recipe out of Food and Wine Magazine. 1/2 cup heavy cream. 2 t instant espresso powder. 6 oz bittersweet chocolate, chopped (I used Ghirardelli bittersweet chocolate chips). Fresh whipped cream (for serving).

http://jenniferwillcookforshoes.blogspot.com/2010/09/skyline-chili-lentils.html
Will Cook for Shoes. Recipes, rants, the usual. Sunday, September 26, 2010. While back, I bookmarked this recipe. To try. I finally got around to it when the Bengals season started. I've made a number of dishes from this book: I love the. A sort of French Cacciatore), the. Chèvre aux Figues,. Which I've posted about before. Or Vineyard-Style Swiss Chard. I suppo...

The wine and food adventures of a Sonoma epicurian. Tuesday, August 24, 2010. Farmers' Market Eggplant and a Favorite Recipe. I especially love small, tender young eggplant! I don't know the names of these varieties, but I know they are among my favorites, and I bought some at a recent Farmers Market. One of my all time favorite eggplant recipes is Sweet-and-Sour Eggplant with Ricotta Salata. See the link for the recipe; here's what I did. The finished dish can be served, hot or room temperature, with an...

The wine and food adventures of a Sonoma epicurian. Wednesday, October 20, 2010. Zion 2010 Report: Camping, Foodie Style! Now, it is certainly understandable that we didn't get great shots of the good cooking (or reheating of prior good cooking) and good drinking that went on in our homey little Zion campsite, because by the time we were cooking it was pitch dark. The wine and food adventures of a Sonoma epicurian. Monday, April 19, 2010. Sauvignon Blancs From Around the World: First Wine/Food Pairing Event. I want to experiment over the next few months with home wine and food pairing events, so that I can try to develop a workable model for a marketable business involving food and wine pairings in the future. Lucky for me, I have several wine loving friends who are enthusiastic about joining into my experiments! A young goat cheese gouda with crackers. It is endl...

The wine and food adventures of a Sonoma epicurian. Tuesday, June 1, 2010. Mole Adventure (the sauce, that is . . . ). I have always wanted to learn to make. And I finally got my chance! Our May Supper Club, the theme of which was Mexican cuisine, in honor of Cinco de Mayo! It was also my first opportunity to use my new Rick Bayliss cookbook,. Rick Bayless’s Mexican Kitchen. Excerpts from a 70’s Teenage Rock Opera. 05-22-15 · 1:57 pm. All dead things come to an end…. Just in case it wasn’t already obvious, “Excerpts from a Teenage Rock Opera” is no more. It has, like Monty Python’s infamous parrot, “gone to make its maker”. A lack of time and an inate lack of ability to concentrate on anything for more than 5 consecutive minutes means the sojourn into my crappy teenage years is now over. Filed under 1975 Diary Entries.
