Does life get any better than this? Monday, July 28, 2014. My plan to start a monthly blog for 2014 has not worked out so well. It is July 28 and this is blog #2. Geeze! Does life get any better than this? Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Snow Day Texas Style = ICE. As the ice started we were at the Stars game! The phone rang at 5:15 am to give me the news that we would be able to stay home today. This was not as exciting as you might think. It is much better to have a delayed start in school, because those days do not have to be made up! Today is a "bad weather" day and now we loose the long weekend in April. BUMMER!
