Sue In Stitches: Stitching finishes
http://sueinstitches.blogspot.com/2014/11/stitching-finishes.html
A little place to share some moments of calm and the lighter parts of life. Monday, 3 November 2014. It has occurred to me that I have not kept up-to-date with many things. I would like to have a little catch up on some of my stitching finishes. Blue Ribbon Designs -Frolic in the foliage. Songs of the Season - Little House Needleworks. A Good Marriage - Lizzie Kate. I am looking forward to framing these and have them join my Bouquets aux Samplers - Jardin Prive on my wall. Thanks for stopping by. Glad Ti...

Sue In Stitches: Family Sampler
http://sueinstitches.blogspot.com/2015/03/family-sampler.html
A little place to share some moments of calm and the lighter parts of life. Monday, 2 March 2015. I have had the most wonderful time stitching the Little House Needleworks - Family Sampler. This has been such a lovely project and my children have really enjoyed seeing it. I did get the Classic Colorworks threads suggested and I am so glad I did as they really do enhance the design beautifully. Here's some pics from the start. To finished and a permanent home found on my wall. 13 March 2015 at 14:06.

Sue In Stitches: May 2013
http://sueinstitches.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
A little place to share some moments of calm and the lighter parts of life. Monday, 20 May 2013. A finish. for my little girl. I have had so many WIPs on the go recently that not much has been finished. My darling man has been busy traveling for work and has given me a chance to get some things finished off. Another little make was this.love it and will definitely be making more. The added feel good was my little boys face and him saying they were comfy. Happy days.(and hoping for a little sunshine).

Sue In Stitches: Time to catch up..
http://sueinstitches.blogspot.com/2015/01/time-to-catch-up.html
A little place to share some moments of calm and the lighter parts of life. Sunday, 11 January 2015. Time to catch up. Goodness me the Christmas season has past us so fast, I haven't got to keep you all updated on things created. As a very big treat to myself I finally got around to framing some of my finishes and hanging them up on my stitching wall. It makes me smile every time I see them all together. Best wishes for the year ahead. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Samplings from a Blue Ribbon Girl.

Half term challenge | cuteasabutton82
https://cuteasabutton82.wordpress.com/2015/05/24/half-term-challenge
My craft and all things buttony! May 24, 2015. Since going back to school after the Easter holidays I’ve been counting down the days until half term! However, despite the fact that I’ve been desperate for a holiday, I’ve made no plans at all for this week. So, in order to avoid just frittering my week away on Facebook, I’ve decided to set myself a challenge – I’m going to make (another) blanket. The first five rounds are the Willow block from Jan Eaton’s 200 Crochet Blocks. And yes, I know I could finish...

Jolly Red: Dreaming of a Silent Night
http://jollyredstitches.blogspot.com/2015/06/dreaming-of-asilent-night.html
FAQs - Ask Kelly. Wednesday, June 10. Dreaming of a Silent Night. Acted as a springboard for our other stockings. Rewind fifteen years - yes, almost the last century - and that was when I designed Dreaming of Christmas. After a lot of gentle but very persistent persuasion from customers who told me that they'd love to stitch a Christmas stocking but couldn't find a kit that they liked. As you can see from a photograph taken last year, our range. Has grown quite a bit:. What do you think? I've kept to the...

Jolly Red: November 2014
http://jollyredstitches.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
FAQs - Ask Kelly. Wednesday, November 12. Uh ohthe 'F' word. Yesterday we were reminded that we have entered the start of the season of the dreaded 'f' word - flooding. It's amazing how quickly the roads around us become flooded, and it is always at our busiest time of the year. Before we all get too fed up, let's have a break to look at some of the tapestries we have sent home recently. Of course there are our kits. And Twitter (@mrsjollyred) so we'll let you know what's happening. Links to this post.

Jolly Red: January 2015
http://jollyredstitches.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
FAQs - Ask Kelly. Tuesday, January 27. Short walks from Jolly Red's Somerset workshop. We thought it would be helpful to share some walks around Isle Brewers, for visitors who want to stretch their legs or take their dogs for a stroll. Here's an 'Isle Brewers loop' we did last week, on a cold January day. We set off from our workshop, TA3 6QL for your satnav. There's always parking in the yard outside so it's a good starting place. Carrying on up the road, once you see All Saints Church. Here's one landm...
