Wednesday, March 30, 2011. We are celebrating the RS Birthday in our ward tomorrow. I decided I would make the cakes. I made two. An orange cake with lemon curd filling and orange blossom neoclassic buttercream. The other, a triple layer devils food cake with milk chocolate chip buttercream. Saturday, February 26, 2011. Hannah is on her way to the Baton Rouge temple today for the first time to do baptisims. She was really excited. I wanted to go but it turned out that I had to stay, as Jack came home yesterday early from school with a fever and slept for 5 hours before waking up long enough to get a drink and go back to sleep for the night! I promised Hannah I would go on the next trip. I sure hope they travel safely and have a great time! Here they are at 4:55 am! Sunday, February 13, 2011.

Friday, August 27, 2010. This is Joshua, he is Rachael's very best friend. We met him and his family by chance at the zoo last year on New Year's Day. They had just moved here from CA. When we found out that we both lived in Madison and in neighborhoods super close we decided to hook up. I am so glad Alison called, as I probably wouldn't have, even though I would have wanted to. Friday, December 31, 2010. We had a great New Years Eve. The May's and the Pratt's came over and we made Japanese food. We had sushi, nabe, tempura shrimp and some noodles which we served in miso soup with veggies. We also had edamame and 2 different kinds of onigiri(rice balls). The food was so yummy and all the kids had a great time! Thanks guys for coming over and sharing New Years with us! I would have taken some pictures of the kids, but they were all over the place! Byron with me behind the camera.

Friday, October 26, 2012. Taylor and Madison have played for the Onate Freshman team for the past few months. I'm so proud of these two midgets for all their hard work!
