Doodles of a brain in Homer Alaska. Saturday, October 07, 2006. CGI vs. Live Action. There are so many things in CGI films that are way cooler than that 'live action stuff'. As you may have already pointed out, the line between live action and CGI is very fuzzy. All of the special effects and blue screen technologies have really advanced in the past few years. Every summer in Homer we get monstrous waves of tourists, some of which are just weekenders from Anchorage, the larger city about two hundred miles north of here. The nice thing about weekenders is that they're usually only here for.guess what? Having been enveloped in the mysterious 2001 A Space Odyssey (the first book in a series of four) I certainly could not miss reading the other three.
