Sunday, May 30, 2010. The Pier is to Santa Monica. As Times Square is to New York City? As I weave through the tourists (who am I kidding, I'm sure I blended more than weaved) I can't help but wonder if this is true. Do people that live in Santa Monica ever go to the Santa Monica Pier? Oh well. I thought it was fun. NYC, I miss you. But I guess I can't complain with palm trees and the beach in my back yard for the next few days. Hope everyone's having a wonderful holiday weekend! Tuesday, April 28, 2009. UGAAlert: Getting Better, but Still Needs Work. A few months ago, I wrote a post about UGAAlert. Over the weekend, an unthinkable tragedy occurred in Athens. A marketing professor from the University of Georgia, George M. Zinkahn, fatally shot his wife and two other members of their theater group. The shooting occurred on Prince Avenue, just minutes from campus and downtown. I was working downtown at the time (this weekend was the Twilight Criterium. Sunday, April 26, 2009.

Symphony Under the Stars. I was asked to illustrate a moon that would reflect over the water. The Symphony Orchestra normally performs near a body of water called the Reflecting Pond, so I added silhouettes of the conductor and musicians that symbolize different parts of the group and reflected in the water. I was also asked to create a program guide, where I used parts of the illustration to help fill up space where there was negative space. Bristol / Ink / Photoshop / Indesign. 20 Vegan. Mummy. Once again, I’m back! August 2, 2015. So I’ve found myself back on WordPress about to create a new blog! So much has happened while I haven’t been blogging (and by so much has happened, I mean really not much at all. But emotionally it has been a lot lol). How about we just start with catch up. So the days are feeling longer but going by so much quicker than I ever expected! And our baby #1 turned 4 in June! But our son continued to have a good day and took the news the next day so well!
