Two eventful weeks have come and gone since F.O.G. has had a chance to put pen to paper. Our local halibut season kicked off on March 20, one day later than previously announced and was limited to 39 hours rather than the usual and expected 48. We are now into Halibut Opener #2. Those are my fish! Rumble on the Water.

Tuesday, February 23, 2016. New Email and Fish Doldrums. Halibut Countdown! I'd rather be writing a Fish-O-Gram. When they begin to spew, we hustle the lucky, lusty duck to a private bucket to work things out, then mingle sperm and eggs at a specific ratio in another bucket. Once the cells begin to divide, we put eggs in a 1500 liter tank to complete the process. In four hours the resultant larvae is swimming, in 24 hours it has a shell. Our dream is becoming a reality!
