I told him that I was aware that he was just doing his job. He said, "Let's just get you through here." He scanned his gloves in advance to confirm that his gloves didn't create a "false positive" on the explosives test. I joked that if his gloves failed, I'd have to screen him. He didn't laugh out loud, but appreciated the humor. (Wow! Labels: Only in the USA.
