Sunday, July 11, 2010. My very first race for SAFSA. high expectations, rather high confidence. Our greatest nemesis were Mountbatten. we knew it would be a tough fight. but we thought we could retain the title. despite the effort, desire, we failed to secure a Gold, and had to settle for Silver. Are we really lesser than them? Does having that many Nteam paddlers make a difference? Why is it a club team overseas beat intimidating, results producing national teams then? We were good, but they were better.

Sunday, January 16, 2011. Training for a higher purpose. I'm sitting in my father's cab, on the way to have breakfast now. After which, I'll be going to SAFTI MI for my Officer Cadet Course. Two months in BMT flew past just like that. I enjoyed my time in Tekong with my buddies and commanders. It was a heck of a memorable experience. Now, I'm embarking on a brand new phase of life. I'm just really worried that i won't be able to pull through this. but i really don't want to let go of either team. for now, i just got to keep finding motivations to keep me going. It's POL-ITE and SDBF glory i'm looking for, and i will push hard enough to get them.

My days in RP is coming to an end. in about 3weeks, i'll be done with school. the only reasons for me to come back after that would be for Dragon Boat trainings and, probably, for graduation.
