Posted by Jim Miller. I never posted about our yearly trip to the fair. We had a blast. Lucas participated in the kids Tractor Pull and did SO well, tying for second. It was a confidence booster (as if he needed one) to have the crowd cheering for "LUCAS"! It was very cute. Lucas occasionally gets to be the snack boy at school and it is so cute to see how excited he gets over it. He spends quite a bit of time thinking about what his snack will be. I usually trash the picture if not instantly, in post processing. Not for any reason other than it was just a "test" snap. In this case, even if I did want to save it - the ISO was too low leaving it too dark. Picky me would have just tossed it, as there are thousands of him already jamming up my cpu. :). As I looked at it (before trashing it of course) I wondered for a split second, what was behind those eyes. Did he wonder why I bounced around from project to project, rushing through the house? Thursday, August 28, 2014. Bill's Berry Farm is a cute little farm out in the country. The Blueberry Festival was happening so we had to check it out. It was so scenic and it was a fun and relaxing family day. A hay ride picks visitors up from the parking area and takes you to the festival. Along with berry picking, there are fresh, hot blueberry donuts, a grill, and several little vendors with homemade wares that were fun to look at. It's all kid friendly with lots of play areas. Happy Birthday, America!
