We thought it would be fun to take all the kids with us for the ultrasound to find out if it was a boy or a girl. Saturday, January 14, 2012. I have a lot of catching up to do on our blog but I thought I would just go ahead skip to our MOST EXCITING news for now! After being put on strict bed rest. At 31 weeks for preeclampsia. And then admitted to the hospital at 32 weeks we were surprised when the Dr's decided it was no longer safe for myself of the baby to keep my pregnant any longer. Wednesday, August 17, 2011. We have a 1st Grader! Michael started 1st Grade today! When we got to school he was so excited and not a bit nervous! He is glad he has some friends in his class from last year. Briggs and Maggie were not happy to see him go. Sunday, April 24, 2011. I did my best to get a picture of all the kids dressed up before we left for church. They were in a silly mood so this is what we got! Man I love these kids! When we put her in her dress she said "princess". I think that means she liked it! What a wonderful Easter we had with lots of family time and also time to ponder on the precious gift we have been given by our Savior. Tuesday, August 13, 2013. We decided it was about time we take all four kids camping! It was an adventure! It was cold and rainy but we had a good time with some great friends! Roger got a new hammock that the kids loved! Even Lucy wanted to try it out! You will notice that Lucy has her blanket tied around her in every picture because the girl cannot be parted from her blanket and this was the only way to keep her from dragging it around in the dirt all weekend! Sunday, May 29, 2011. After eight years of being married we are finally planting our first garden! Thank goodness I have a husband that knows what he is doing because this is all foreign to me. The kids loved helping prepare it for planting! What kids don't love to play in the dirt! Watering for the first time! Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Catching up on Lucy! I haven't blogged in FOREVER! But what can I say, if there is such a thing as a spare minute with 4 kids, I like to use it to play with Lucy because she is growing WAY TOO FAST! Roger is at scout camp for a couple nights so I am going to attempt to catch up a little. Keep in mind she started out like this. But by her one month appointment she had already grown to this.a whopping 6lbs. 2oz. Remember this one, you might notice a trend). Already a Daddy's girl!

Thanks to the incredible kindness of my sister Natalie and her wonderful husband Justin, Roger and I were able to get away for three nights and four days for our 10 year anniversary! Nat and Justin drove up from AZ and took care of all of our kids while we escaped to paradise! It totally reminded me why I fell in love with him and we had a blast!
