Saturday, February 20, 2010. AN EXPERIMENT WITH OFF CAMERA FLASH. An Experiment with Off Camera flash. Originally uploaded by photoholic royd. Ok now that I have my own lighting kit complete with 2 strobes and stands and what not, I figured I should go ahead and contribute to the ever growing Strobist. Vivitar 3200A into shoot through umbrella camera left. The rim lighting is provided by a yellow wall on the right that reflected some of the light back. Trigger using Sonia Wireless Radio trigger.

Friday, July 10, 2009. NEW CAMERA: NIKON D90. I recently bought myself a Nikon D90 with an 18 - 105 DX. ED lens. I am thoroughly enjoying shooting with it and it's a great first DSLR. Since I own an FM10 with 3 lenses, it made sense for me to buy a Nikon so I could use my old lenses. My favourite of them is the 50mm f/1.4. The optical quality is simply unbelievable.
