http://knitandrun97.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
The Everyday Life of a Wild and Wacky Woman. Sunday, April 19, 2015. A Blast from the Past . . . One of my cousins has gotten into Ancestry.com. In a big way. My mom also was very interested in tracing her roots in Northern Ireland and she amassed a bit of information, and I had hired a genealogist in Northern Ireland before I went there a few years ago, and they unearthed some things. I never did anything with it. Butterick #3528 B.M. Butterick #3528 B.M. October 4, 1986. Yes, I made them wear those...

Knit and Run: I am One with the Wind and Sky . . .

The Everyday Life of a Wild and Wacky Woman. Wednesday, August 5, 2015. I am One with the Wind and Sky . . . For those of you who might be on Ravelry, I'm doing a little destashing. Now seems like a good time to continue letting go of stuff. I spent a lot of time earlier this year doing just that - and there is still stuff I can let go of, so I'm looking at pretty much everything with a critical eye. I arrived home yesterday and put the trash barrels back in the garage - I could see my Netflix in the front door along with the mail that I picked up as I opened the door. Hmmmm, a pretty thick envelope - what's this? As I walked into the kitchen, I turned it over. Not a prospectus. Not a bank statement. It was my car insurance bill. My car insurance bill. You CAN...

Knit and Run: The Budget List
http://knitandrun97.blogspot.com/p/the-budget-list.html
The Everyday Life of a Wild and Wacky Woman. Here is a running list of the changes I'm making in my day-to-day life. Bringing my lunch to work every day (savings of $50-$65/week). Switched special dentist to the city location instead of the suburb (savings of wear and tear on the auto, gas, and city parking at least two times a year - estimated savings of $60/year. Not a lot, but every little bit helps). Analyzed my cell phone bill - called them and dropped my data plan in half (savings of $30/month).
