I think it sucks that the rich get richer and they seem to rule the country and the poor work harder for little money while putting money in the pockets of the rich. I can see where America is considered a meritocracy because everyone is working to be the best, I just don't think that when you put the human factor into it that a meritocracy doesn't work.
