Tuesday, July 26, 2011. And the fun continues. The kids have had a pretty good summer. (at least I think so! We have gone swimming once a week, storytime, playdates and visits with relatives. I just started taking the kids to a free movie at the theater once a week too. We stay very busy! The kids also find time to entertain themselves. Here is a cute picture of Benjamin. Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Day at the River! Time once again for the Thompson family get together at the River! We love hanging out with family and celebrating Independence Day! We had a heat advisory. but decided splashing in the river would be a great way to spend the day. Sarah was so excited to be in the water- especially in a life jacket! Monday, April 23, 2012. I still can't get over how fast babies grow. Can Sarah already be three? Time really does fly. Sarah decided back in February that she wanted to have a frog birthday party. She LOVES the color green. so I thought it was very fitting. She wanted a frog cake, and I didn't want to buy a pan, so I just made myself a pattern! I took a 9x13 and cut out legs and feet and added it to a round cake. Then used cupcakes for eyes. Looking more like a frog after it has some frosting on it!

Monday, February 27, 2012. Always an adventure, always behind. The kids and I are pretty much always up to something. And I am pretty much always behind on my blog. Oh well. It is what it is. I love to leave my house. Load up the kids and get out! Kids love it. And so does my wallet :) And now we can add feeding seagulls! I love this picture! Betty held out a piece of bread and a seagull pulled it from her hand right as I took the picture. You can also see Uncle Dale, watching comfortably from his car.

Wednesday, August 24, 2011. Saturday morning I realized that we were out of milk. Not good when you have three cranky kids who want their cups filled up! Tuesday, September 30, 2014. I've been wanting to go up to Tweetsie Railroad for years now and we finally went. We went up to Linville Falls when we first got there so we could hike up to the waterfall. It was a gorgeous fall day and it was really beautiful. Saturday, May 16, 2015. Last Game of the Season. Cooper has his last t-ball game of the season today. He actually did really well! He normally is super spacey and not really paying attention but he was diving after the balls, running faster than normal, hitting really well, it was great to watch. Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Haven's 2nd Birthday Party! Haven has been talking about having a Mickey Party for 2 months. She loves Mickey! And just in time for our Disney cruise in 3 weeks! Thursday, May 28, 2015. We took the boat out again on Memorial Day. The kids had a blast tubing together. They didn't have time to do it last week when we went so they were extra excited to go this time. Haven's first time on the tube! She loved it.she kept saying "again, again". The latest doings and or/crazy antics. Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Winter at the Whitlock's. As far as snow goes, this winter has been lame. We have gotten many days with terrible driving conditions but only one inch of snow at a time! No sledding for us. However, no amount of snow is too small for this girl to attempt a snow angel (with tongue stuck out to catch the falling snow). Also, wrestling occurs every day throughout the year, until Daddy falls asleep, that is. This is usually how it begins.

Nearly a month ago Ravenna turned 5 years old and I during the craziness that the month of May has been, I have neglected to share any pictures. A few days before her actual birthday Ravenna had what she called her "pretend birthday." It was simply a play date for a few of her friends where her friends brought handmade gifts (so precious! You can see how much Ravenna enjoyed opening up the handmade gifts from her friends.

Tuesday, September 25, 2012. We were invited to a friend's lake house to celebrate Independence Day this year. What a blast! We spent the day enjoying the lake, the perfect weather and great company. We swam, went out on the wave runner, took the kids on the conoe and the paddle boat and went tubing! We had a fantastic dinner and watched some amazing fireworks! Saturday, August 15, 2015. June was pretty BUSY. here's an overview. I am still so incredibly proud of all my students! It was a wonderful recital held at the Hanford Reach Interpretive Center. A has been taking lessons for a year now, this was her 1st recital). L has been taking lessons with me since he was 4). Dance Recital- It was soooo hot! We babysat our little buddies, while their mom was with big sister at the park in 109* heat! Joseph kept Gman busy for 2 hours! With Love, Joseph and Shaylee.
