Sunday, August 21, 2016. 11th Wild Duck 5K August 20, 2016. Training has been going fairly well considering it has been over 90 degrees, every day, all summer long. Saturday, September 24, 2016. 2nd Annual Crazy 8′s 5K September 24, 2016. Early we again enjoyed a couple of espressos before hopping into the car for the 40 mile drive south on the Avocado Highway. Saturday, September 12, 2015. Seasons 20K September 6, 2015. I wasn't feelin' the love for another long road race. Especially on a course that promised hills, summer heat, and dreaded humidity. I did sign up for this, running distances from 5K to 42.2K, to enjoy the pleasure of competing. And enjoy it I will! At first glance the field size appeard smaller than other Grand Prix races.
