Monday, May 13, 2013. Today I had the pure joy of sharing my testimony at my church. I was scared out of my mind leading up to it, but it was a wonderful experience having random (and not so random! I honestly am not exactly sure what I even shared today. The words just flowed. I am curios to hear the playback when it posts. I was counting on the two pages of notes I had written out - but I never even looked at them once. He was truly strong in my weakness. He's so kind. Born again. what is that?

Wednesday, November 13, 2013. Video on repeat. I actually did. But there was still noon prayer, impending in my mind with doom. I had not prepared my heart, my attitude could not be worse, the mommy-guilt could not be thicker, and I didn't feel like giving anything to anyone anymore today. I wanted to be done pouring - by about 9 AM. Because if our God is for us, who can ever be against us? Posted by Staci Wykes. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Living Proof Ministries Blog. Wednesday, January 15, 2014. Likely not you. Likely not anyone. Don't get me wrong - I heart blogs. It's just that "another one" wasn't what I felt called to. Does that make sense to anyone but me? I decided to let this site be a place where my thoughts about faith and God went public. I love to journal out prayers and questions and have found it extremely useful for my own spiritual growth. So I thought, why not share that? We don't want to listen to your dread anymore." And Amos? Posted by Staci Wykes.

Thursday, February 12, 2015. Turns out if you let an old blog stick around long enough, it will be relevant once again. When I started this blog, it was named after we three Wykes', the Wykes times three. Then we 2 years later we added another sweet baby boy, and the title became an awkward thing, describing just a portion of our crew. So here we are, a crew of four, under the site of three. The Wykes family has been keeping a little secret since December. We have a Wykes #3 on the way.

Wednesday, July 3, 2013. What About My Plans? It's so hard to title blog posts sometimes. Especially ones like this one, where my heart is ready to explode out of my chest. How do you put that into words? I'll come back to it. Maybe. Titles shmitles. When he asks her to walk away from what she loves? What if she doesn't want his plan for her life? What if he wants to change me and I don't like what I'm changing into? Does this sound like someone aiming to snatch your dreams away? It's from my friend, Ann...

Friday, September 20, 2013. Some insight. Ok, a lot. Awesome. Glad we cleared that up. Dealing with my fear of germs at the airport. On a trip to learn of the healing power of Jesus. It was lost on me, too, don't worry. I sometimes don't know where to start with these posts. But I think ever since Texas, I really. But it's time I let you in a little more. Stick with me, this post has some girth. Option A, insert novel. God doesn't actually heal? Or I don't have the faith? Oh, right, it's all over the Bib...

Friday, July 11, 2014. Hope Behind the Glasses. Naturally, after writing a post where I promise to post more, I stop posting for five months. Sorry about that. But I wasn't sure where to start up again. So I thought I'd start where I've been most avoiding. A follow-up post to my double vision healing. One may wonder, had they read that post. Why is the healed girl wearing glasses? I have asked myself this same question. Often. This is not another post on healing, though. It's a post on hope.

Monday, October 31, 2011. So I don't know about you, but there are seasons in my life when I need a personal trainer for my spiritual life. I need someone there, cheering me on, forcing me to just OPEN your Bible Staci! Call each other out - we all need it sometimes. Today I was feeling particularly discouraged by some things going on right now, and one of my friend's emailed her devotion and it was PERFECT for what I was feeling. That's how amazing God is. Just sayin'. Yup, we're pretty cool. I don't th...

One on our Christmas program right now! Showing off the treat bag he decorated. I am in a Monday evening study with Becky - love to listen to her talk! And then on Monday (Halloween), we went trick or treating around our own neighborhood and handed out candy to our neighbors! Handsome little devils, ready to go! Halloween, Circa 2010.

Sunday, August 28, 2011. This past weekend I was in the wedding of a girl I grew up with. Saying this seems funny to me on two levels. One being that it kind of means I'm done "growing up" or that it was a long time ago or something? It just seems like such a simple statement, "we grew up together". Anyway, her wedding was a beautiful thing, and I really am glad I got to be a part of it. It was like a little piece of my childhood becoming complete. Weird, but so true. She was a tad nervous :O).
