Brad's Scrap Blog. We're Going To Need A Bigger Blog. January 24, 2012. In 2011 and 2012 I traveled in Spain and in Mexico. I love both these countries for their history, architecture, language and people. I can see myself continuing to visit the Spanish world and currently have a dream of living in Barcelona. However there is one thing about these places that does turn me right off. That is the attitude towards trash, rubbish, garbage or as they call it, basura. Http:/ www.youtube.com/watch? Century to transport gold, amongst other things, between Skagway and the Yukon Territory. The work involved in building that railway was back-breaking at best and it cost countless deaths of men and horses. And, I'd had the audacity to think that I'd had it rough when I emigrated here from England during the 20. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). And I love motorcycles. The Power of Music.

Brad's Scrap Blog. We're Going To Need A Bigger Blog. May 15, 2012. Death Rides a Bicycle. Merivale Road is crazy crowded with cars, SUVs, pickups, vans and big trucks which all hurtle by my slow bike on trajectories starting at one strip mall and ending in another. Long accordion buses shave the curves and only grudgingly pull away to miss me. In this confusion, seeing Death, I pulled over into the Bed, Bath and Beyond parking lot, stopped and shuddered. Brad's Scrap Blog. We're Going To Need A Bigger Blog. September 25, 2012. My new house has no less than seven different wall paint colours. My eyes don’t process subtle nuances of colour and my brain did not pick up on the ramifications of this. Touching up the wall damage requires buying seven cans of touch up paint. Repainting the place back to a neutral colour will be a long ordeal of sanding and priming. Lemme check on the computer – who owned de house? Me: His name was Paul Arnold. So with the paint...

Brad's Scrap Blog. We're Going To Need A Bigger Blog. February 1, 2012. I arrive at a taco stand that I have been to several times before (so I know the food won’t sicken me) and one of the guys there speaks English. The stand has a bar table along the street and a recessed area with tables. I decide to sit at the bar for a change. The English speaker is not there, but no problemo my Spanish is up to the task. Brad: Buenos tardes, tres tacos por favor. Taco Guy: Si, assado, chorino . Brad: Ok Coca Cola.
