I'm sure that sign says something like "Enter at your own risk.". This was one of the pythons happy to pose for portraits.for a fee of course! Ainsley and I were on the same page as far as the snakes were concerned. Addison with the giant python that could have swallowed her in one bite. This mother is carrying a baby.

Friday, January 20, 2012. So, before we start talking about 2012, there are just a few things I need to add for 2011. In the craziness of our Fall, I never had a chance to add two events to the blog. The first was Addison's 7th birthday party and the second was our day trip to Kinagawa with the Kumar family. Addison, Saraa, and Ainsley before our boat ride on the Kinugawa River. The Kinugawa River is beautiful with crystal clear water. All the kids at the entrance to Tobu World Square.

Monday, February 27, 2012. Skiing in Shiga Kogen.Japanese Style. And, yes, you are doing this with your closest friends.naked! Food was all Japanese style which means fish, veggies and miso soup for breakfast (actually, they had toast and cereal too). Dinner was a large variety of different foods, most of which were delicious. It was a little hard to feed the kids, but they managed to fill up on M&M's and bread. Thursday, August 30, 2012. Fuji-san is no match for the Pumpernickel! Somewhere between the 5th and 6th stations. It was hard to get a good picture of town below, but this is right after dark. The best Japanese cup noodles ever! One of the stamp guys let Ainsley do her own stamp. The rest rooms on Fuji are quite unique in that they apparently recycle all the wastewater. There are signs in the restroom that read:. Ainsley tried to catch a brief nap before sunrise. You should be so proud of yourself!

Monday, September 24, 2012. Hawaii and Another Great Summer. Gavin spent most of the ride on my lap, but this time, it was Addison's turn. I, on the other hand, attempted to stand up right from the beginning, which meant that I had A LOT of falls.a few which landed me into the coral. Where did the wave go? Timing those things was tough! Tuesday, May 24, 2011. We had quite a busy weekend with the girls playing in their first piano recital, Gavin going to a birthday party, swimming, Japanese lessons and more biking. First, we are so pround of both Ainsley and Addison for working so hard and playing so well at the recital. They have only been taking lessons for a couple of months and they are really loving it and doing great. Addison had to go first since she was the youngest child, but she didn't seem at all nervous.
