The Rogers' - Welcome to our neighbourhood. A blog mainly about our 13 year old James! Friday, September 30, 2005. Rita and fever update. He was still hot, but not as much as he was, so better. He will spend the weekend recovering before heading back to daycare. Myron will have to work tomorrow to make up for some of the time lost. We have no internet. I took...

We are not where we were- literally and physically. Loopielovesthebeach got her dream come true. The elephant is still in the room. Why don't we acknowledge said elephant? Fernandina has been a dream of mine and now it is of Wes's too. It wasn't hard to convince him. More like a "hey, what you think? We hear waves...

Another Outlet for My Reality Obsessed Self. We got baggage .you know we're gonna drag it everywhere we go for everyone to see. I am thinking a lot today about what my purpose is in life. I read the book "purpose driven life" a few years back, but i really didn't like it. But it does pose the question of all time. what am i doing here? Is it to raise my kids? Be a good wife? Speak to the Nations? Be the lifter of heads when you are downtrodden or beaten in life? Lead others to God? Be a listening ear?

Another Outlet for My Reality Obsessed Self. Don't call me. I'll call you. When I am ready for a friend, i am going to be choosy. Here are my qualifications. Must have kids old enough that you can leave them either with each other or come alone to my house. Must love to sit on my balcony, amongst the Christmas lights in the otherwise dark windy nights. Must love to drink- not your "oh , i might like a glass of wine with dinner once a year". NO! Must not be a MOPS member. Must not be a liar or cheater.

I look younger than I am. get carded a lot. The ocean is therapeutic. The Salt Life is all that I dreamed it would be. Life isn't always easy. A Run to Remember. Â Saturday, September 24, 2005. Weâ re home, weâ re pumped, and weâ re still standing. The run was absolutely fantastic. Weâ re still basking in the glow of our accomplishments, and buzzing from the euphoria of running 10km (6.2 miles) in 55 minutes. We crossed the finish line, hand in hand, and that was the perfect ending to a run that meant so much to my husband and I. More pictures will follow later on when I get them, but I just wanted to share this photo of us before the run.
