Sunday, August 13, 2006. Sinead in the village. Doesn't she look great? Some of the dances were really amazing, full of crazy jumping and hip movements. Sinead and I tried to do a few of them after we went home- she succeeded much better than I did. So here are some more photos- I've been self-conscious about taking pictures while I'm working, so no photos of my students yet, but I'm sure I'll have some sooner or later. My outhouse- which really isn't so bad, though there is a huge resident population of mosquitos, which don't really bite me, but are still very annoying. Sunday, June 25, 2006. Photos of African Child Day. Here are some photos from the celebration for African Child Day:. A seventh grader reading a poem. Two sixth graders reading a poem. 5th graders singing a song. The rest are from a short dramatisation of the Soweto Uprising performed by learners from 2 tenth grade classes. Saturday, December 31, 2005. I did have this picture, taken from the plane from Johannesburg to Windhoek (by Sinead) available. So that is what Namibia looks like from above- its about as dry and empty as it looks, though we have had a lot of thunderstorms lately. El sabado partimos con Isa, Camilo y Aline rumbo a Basel, sip, la misma ciudad donde Fernando Gonzalez jugo con Federer, pero solo pasamos a dejar a Aline y luego de pasear por la ciudad nos fuimos rumbo a Mannheim a visitar a Gina, la prima de Camilo que estudia en esa ciudad. Friday, August 25, 2006. Les presento mi desordenado escritorio! Aqui es donde todos los dias, despues de las 10 eso si hasta pasado las 7, paso mis dias, haciendo como que trabajo, jejejejeje.
