GEAR - AKA 'QUIPMENTS. I like Les Pauls. They sound good. They feel right. They're heavy but. I deal with it. I also have a Mr. Rogers based naming convention for my instruments. The pickups have changed many times - the orginals were pretty lame, in my opinion. It currently has a Seymour Duncan Custom in the bridge and a Gibson 498(? Warm, clear tone. Ive done music for a number of shorts, web commercials and video presentations. The best are below. I can do a lot of different styles. Ive had the opportunity to make stuff thats minimal a la Brian Eno, electo-rock like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Morricone-esque western, sci-fi, latin horns and guitars, orchestral strings and percussion, etc. I even got semi-funky with a lot of overdubbed mouth sounds for one short.
