ok, fine, I do like blogging: vanilla google
http://mellificent.blogspot.com/2008/12/vanilla-google.html
Thursday, December 18, 2008. When gmail first came out, privacy advocates were all up in arms about how google was going to use the text of your e-mails to target ads to you. And I see their point, but google swore nobody was actually going to read your e-mail and I personally was willing to risk it for the awesomeness that is gmail. Which could be useful.). I've blogged about this before. And now I know how to knit.and those recycled silk yarns are still beautiful. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

ok, fine, I do like blogging: rice pudding recipe
http://mellificent.blogspot.com/2009/01/rice-pudding-recipe.html
Saturday, January 03, 2009. Last weekend I went to G.Dog's mom's annual Christmas regifting and caroling party. G.Dog's calculations on food quantity were wayyyy off, so there ended up being about twice as much rice as was needed. I brought some home. The last time I made rice pudding from leftover rice, it wasn't really that great, so I hereby record for posterity this excellent recipe. I am so very glad you enjoyed the rice pudding. What a great way to use up left over rice huh?

Tuesday, January 20, 2009. We stood right in front of the Washington Monument. It's a good spot - it's on a hill, so you can see the Capitol. Our view while waiting for the festivities to get underway:. The Capitol is the building in the middle, a mile away. Those trees are blocking the dome.) Our view at 12:05 pm:. So many tacky t-shirts, so little cash:. 11:10 AM, January 21, 2009. Although i am a fan of this freelance stuff (yeah quizzes! I get sad not seeing blog posts as often.

ok, fine, I do like blogging: we're coming down to the ground
http://mellificent.blogspot.com/2009/02/were-coming-down-to-ground.html
Friday, February 06, 2009. We're coming down to the ground. I'm trying to make my apartment livable by clearing up some of the disastrous mess - turns out when you bring all your office stuff home, then get a new desk, then buy a new computer, printer, phone, and camera, then start planning a trip to a very cold place that requires a lot of special equipment, things can get a bit cluttered. Thursday, January 15, 2009. Up to the minute.or not. Whoa I just went 10 days without blogging. This may be the beginning of the end for this blog. But now I will point out something stupid that bugs me. Maybe that will revive the blogging juices. That I like those google ads that appear across the top of the gmail screen. Sometimes you can find fun stuff. But then every now and then you get a sponsored link like this:. Cruise Ship Sinks Off Antarctica. Get Up to the Minute News Now! More than a year ago?

Monday, January 05, 2009. This morning I asked my Facebook friends what blogs they read, and I'm getting all sorts of stuff to check out. Here's one I like: The Oyster's Garter. I love marine invertebrates. There's some musing about science journalism. And, yep, a bunch more marine invertebrates. Including fabric marine invertebrates. Thanks for the love! Argonautical Ramblings: October 2008

Seattle, Washington, United States. Just a guy from small town America who moved to the big city and done good. Sort of like John Mellencamp but with less hair and fewer hit records. Current Cubs queue position: 30,060. View my complete profile. Friday, October 31, 2008. How awesome is this? Some guy laid down 64 tracks of him making random mouth sounds and it magically turns into a near-perfect rendition of Michael Jackson's Thriller! And just in time for Halloween! What are the odds! Sunday should hope...
