Speaker comparison involves analysing speech and voice patterns to assist courts in determining identity or non-identity of speakers. Typically, we are provided with two sets of recordings: a reference recording which is known to have come from a suspect and the evidential or questioned recording, related to the crime. Our methods are compliant with the Appeal Court rulings R -v- Anthony O’Doherty ([2002] NICA 20). And R -v- Flynn and St John ([2008] EWCA Crim 970).
