John P. Yuda. AILA’s Immigration Lawyer Search. AILA is a membership organization for immigration attorneys and has not historically had a consumer-aimed arm. But they frequently receive phone calls or emails asking for referrals to attorneys. They wanted a site that would allow consumers to find appropriate lawyers on their own. The site would need to be multi-lingual, and we determined that it would need a higher-than-usual amount of backwards compatibility based on audience research.

John P. Yuda. Maggio and Kattar is a full-service immigration firm in Washington, D.C. They needed a site which could highlight their prominence as a major immigration firm while not alienating their client base. I managed and implemented this site from beginning to end, including collecting requirements and audience information from the client, defining functional specifications of the site, information architecture, visual design, and final implementation. Previous: Washington Scholarship Fund.

John P. Yuda. House Committee on Agriculture. The Committee needed a site that would allow them to communicate with the public about agriculture bills being considered in Congress. Secondarily, the site had to convey information about the composition of the committee, its non-legislative work, past legislation, and a general history of the Agriculture committee in Congress. The Agriculture Committee site won a Silver Mouse Award in 2006. Next: Hospice College of America.

I developed a small, one-page site that described the services offered by the company and provided multiple easy means to contact them.
