My Life in Transition: Colorado 2015 | Day Two
http://julia-transition.blogspot.com/2015/08/colorado-2015-day-two.html
Moms Make it Work Series. Colorado 2015 Day Two. Run, guys golf, playground, hanging at home}. I think so. Yes, on vacation anything goes, I think. At 7:00 on the dot Truman came into my room all excited and happy to start our day in Colorado. We did bring the big kids' Tot Clock. Nate and I both went upstairs with Cecelia and listened for Porter on the old school 1980s monitor that somehow still works! I really missed the luxury of our video monitor on this trip though. The way he looks at her here.

My Life in Transition: I've Always Loved You Best...
http://julia-transition.blogspot.com/2015/05/ive-always-loved-you-best.html
Moms Make it Work Series. I've Always Loved You Best. Memaw sent me a letter for Mother's Day, and in it she included an excerpt from Erma Bombeck. I haven't heard of this author before but I'm glad Memaw introduced me to Erma because she was quite the humorist/columnist and I'm a sucker for any sarcastic and thoughtful words on motherhood. So many quotes of Erma's float around the internet and yet it was difficult for me to find a proper source. You wore new, had unused grandparents and more clothes tha...

http://julia-transition.blogspot.com/2012/11/breastfeeding-as-working-mom-aka.html
Moms Make it Work Series. Breastfeeding as a Working Mom (aka Pumping Fool! I'm happy I've never had to mix a formula bottle for my kids but I'm not opposed to it, either. Because I know it's not so easy for a lot of moms and there are just so many roadblocks that can pop up during a nursing journey. Forget it. Totally need an extra hour in the day to deal with it all. Pump Talk part 1. Pump Talk part 2. Hanging on for Dear Life. But I also wanted to update some of my old posts about this topic now that ...

My Life in Transition: Colorado Trip 2013: Day 1
http://julia-transition.blogspot.com/2013/11/colorado-trip-2013-day-1.html
Moms Make it Work Series. Colorado Trip 2013: Day 1. Wednesday, October 23 (Day 1). Cecelia woke up at 3:45 am this morning and needed her pacifier replaced. Our alarms were set to go off at 4:00 am and I was not about to test fate by falling back to sleep for just 15 minutes. Isn't that the WORST type of sleep ever? When you just start to drift off into a deep snooze, the alarm goes off and you feel one hundred times worse than before. Hate it. Of changing a baby on an airplane. Did we take off yet?
