During her time in the Kansas House, Menghini was the ranking minority member of the House Taxation Committee, fighting for common sense solutions to get Kansas on the road to economic recovery. In addition, she actively worked on the House Transportation committee to develop Kansas’ comprehensive transportation plan. This program will create 175,000 new jobs over the next decade and was the largest jobs package to ever be signed into law in Kansas. Married to Henry for 21 years. Currently in 3rd term.
