Safety razor wit, the mouth of a sailor, and the mental constitution of a vending machine. Moms love me. I finally did it. I got a visible tattoo. And then the gun began to buzz. I am that white-collar employee with a visible tattoo. And I’m ready to reclaim my life. 2 thoughts on “ Philosophy and Ink. August 5, 2015 at 4:12 am. What did you get a tattoo of? Safety razor wit, the mouth of a sailor, and the mental constitution of a vending machine. Moms love me. I realized a little while ago how much of a “homebody” I’ve been in my 29 years. Aside from the three years I spent in college (which wasn’t even that far from the Bay Area), I’ve never left the nine-county region. All the experiences, events, and people that make up the entirety of my life have been concentrated within 200 miles of where I grew up. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

When I was a kid, I was always told that ‘wisdom comes with age.’ The inference being that as a child, I hadn’t experienced enough to fully understand the world around me, therefore I needed to grow older and the answers would come with time. That’s not wisdom. That’s just trial-and-error at work. Sometimes, it’s not all that bad to see the world through a child’s eyes. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Hi, My Name is Dax… and I'm a Dateoholic. Confessions and Reflections of a Regular Guy trying to Break the Cycle. Struggling to Find a Date? Change Your Perspective (Part I). Posted on December 7, 2013. A change in perspective. It took a lot of encouragement, but eventually I changed my ways. My friend convinced me to go up and ask girls out on just the sole fact that I thought they were cute. This was NOT an overnight process! 1 As long as the girl is single, she will say yes to a date a lot more often ...

Hi, My Name is Dax… and I'm a Dateoholic. Confessions and Reflections of a Regular Guy trying to Break the Cycle. Posted on October 20, 2013. In this post, I’ll do something I rarely do… cut to the chase! So, what lead up to Gaby moving in with me? At that time I mentioned that there was an immediate improvement in our relationship, but from past experience I’ve learned that sometimes that doesn’t last. Well I’m pleased to say that things have been going great ever since! Slowly I make progress, but in t...
